Cindy was born in Anoka, Minnesota in 1948 to Wayne and Shirley Clark. She attended Anoka Senior High School and continued her education with Minneapolis Vocational Technical Institute. Following her education, Cindy had a successful career as an Executive Assistant.
She created an interesting and fulfilling life with involvement in the Anoka Marching Band as a Banner Bearer, racing cars, hosting card club, and crafting via basket weaving and cross stitching. Cindy also spent her time perfecting the best banana bread recipe, attending the local ladies only gym, and polishing her nails.
Though she had eclectic hobbies, Cindy’s favorite role was that as a grandparent. She treasured her time with 7 grandkids and 2 great grandkids with her cherished title as “Granny”. Her favorite Granny activities included cheering at various sporting events, back to school shopping trips, and countless sleepovers.
She is preceded in death by her parents. Survived by her loving husband of 34 years Richard Schatz; daughters Polly (Matt) Zimmerman, Arika (Aaron) Muellner; brother, Dan Clark; grandchildren Kaity (Andy) Falk, Nicolas (Taryn) Zimmerman, Morgan (Alex) Cripe, Avery Muellner, Monica Zimmerman, Nathan Zimmerman, Mallory Muellner; and great Grandchildren Ezra Falk and Owen Cripe. Along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Service on Thursday, November 30th, at Gearhart Funeral Home, 11275 Foley Blvd NW, Coon Rapids. Visitation at 10am and service at 11am. Interment at Morningside Memorial Gardens to follow.
