Pat was born in Minneapolis, MN, on October 20, 1941 to Opal and Jennings. Pat retired from Federal Cartridge in Anoka, MN, in 2000, after 25 years of employment. This is where she met her husband, Galin. Pat had 2 boys and Galin had 2 girls, which made for the perfect family. After Pat and Galin retired they moved to Blackduck, MN and enjoyed family time sitting by the campfire, eating smores, riding four wheelers, hunting and fishing, and just enjoying the family.
Pat was an amazing cook and baker, and loved being a mom and grandma. She was talented at feeding an Army and always had a welcoming smile and hug for any visitors. She was most proud of her beautiful family and being a loving wife to Galin. She enjoyed Elvis, babies, shopping, going out to eat, games like Yahtzee, Phase 10, Chicken Foot and Bingo, and travelling. Her favorite foods were steak and lobster with Risata Moscato D'Asti, and her favorite place was the casino with Galin, in Hinkley or Laughlin.
She is preceded in passing by her parents, Opal and Jennings; infant daughter, Sherri Rey; and former husband, Roland Dahl.
Patricia is survived by her beloved husband of 30 years, Galin Sylvester; children, Richard Dahl, Kenneth (Tammy) Dahl, Cindy (Randy) Chumley, Tina (Greg) Tatro; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; siblings, Michael (Margaret) Strout, Richard Scott, and Angela (George) Nord; and many other family members and friends.
