Ron Bruss

In the late evening of September 17, 2025, Ron passed away peacefully at home in Brooklyn Park, MN. He was 92 years old.

Ron was born at home in Wood Lake, MN. He married Mary Jane Krum in 1957 and raised two children in Coon Rapids, MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents Gerald and Mildred; siblings, Darry, Dean, and Stan.

Ron is survived by wife, Mary; two children Ronald Lee (Susan) Bruss, Suzy (David) Tobolt; six grandchildren, Aaron (Katie) Bruss, Elise (Shea) Wiederholt, Elena (Tony) Procaccini, Emily (Cody) Larson, Tanner Bruss, and Wyatt Bruss; five great-grandchildren Chase, Harper, Dylan, Juliet, and Molly; siblings Lee (Lois), Donna, Marlyce, Wesley, and Charlotte (Dale).

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd at 11AM, with visitation one hour prior, at Redeemer Lutheran Church. 61 Mississippi St NE, Fridley, MN. A Luncheon will follow the service. Ron will be buried at Fort Snelling cemetery in Minneapolis, MN, on Tuesday, October 21st at 9AM - Please meet in assembly area #2 by 8:45 am.
