Ruby Remme

Age 96 of Circle Pines. Entered into eternal rest August 10, 2012. Born June 13, 1916 to Nutie and Lizzie (Limbo) Knutson of Lake Preston. She was born in the Midland area of South Dakota where they homesteaded for 9 years. They then returned to the North Preston area where she attended country school at Baker #6. She was baptized and confirmed in the North Preston Lutheran Church.

Ruby worked in Sioux Falls and there she met Marvin. They were married on May 10, 1942 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Luverne, Minnesota. They moved to Chicago for work and lived there for 5 years. Then moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Marvin H. Remme; great granddaughter, Emma Remme; parents, Nutie and Lizzie; sisters, Luella Gunderson, Myrtle Lakness, Hazel Johnson and Agnes White; and brothers, Milford and Vernon Knutson.

She will be dearly missed by her 4 loving sons, Wayne (Sandy), Dennis (Patt), Ronald (Pam), and Jon; 10 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; sister, Ruth Olson of Lake Preston, South Dakota; and many other relative and friends.

Funeral Service 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 9185 Lexington Ave. N, Circle Pines, with a visitation at church one hour prior to the service. Interment Morningside Cemetery, Coon Rapids, Minnesota.
