Seth James Antiel

September 28, 1990–March 7, 2026

Seth James Antiel, 35, of Coon Rapids, MN, passed away on March 7, 2026. A graduate of Meadow Creek Christian School and Bethel University, Seth furthered his studies at Jerusalem University College in Israel. There, Seth’s faith and learning grew amid a stark landscape he came to love. Seth was a man of quiet strength, and life was defined by his kindness and generosity, his tender heart toward all living things, and his easy-going spirit.

Seth had a heart for children, especially those with special needs. He spent many years working with children with autism, offering a steady and gentle patience to child and family alike. He loved nothing more than spending time with his nephews and nieces.

He cared deeply for animals, and his life was punctuated with animal stories. Whether it was the dogs, cat, geckos, painted turtles, and hedgehog he loved in his youth or the cats and tortoise he recently cared for, he had a compassion for all creatures, great and small.

Seth was a creator at heart. More than just an amateur Lego Master, he designed and sold custom figures and sets. Some of his happiest moments were spent at his grandparents’ cabin in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Whether on the shores of Lake Superior with family or adventuring with close friends, the cabin was a place of true rest.

He is survived by his wife, Soraya; his parents, Mark and Julia; his brothers, Ryan (Leslie) and Nathan (Kayla); and five nephews and nieces whom he loved dearly. He was a caring son, a loyal brother, and a faithful friend to many. Seth’s gentle presence and kind soul will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
