of Ramsey, passed away Jan. 14, 2020 at the age of 82.

Vernon was born and raised in Glenwood, Minnesota before moving to the Twin Cities to work as an electronics technician. He served in the National Guard and was a devout Lutheran, husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Norma Jacobs, sisters Shirley Walker and Judi Morton, daughters Carol Tienter and Mary Rddad, sons David, Brian and Christopher as well as many grand- and great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents Edwin and Camilla (née Foner) Jacobs and his brother Jimmie Jacobs.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2020, at Northgate Lutheran Church at 7295 Sunwood Dr. NW, Ramsey, MN. Reviewal will begin at 10 a.m.
