Passed away October 26th, 2012. Preceded in death by husband, Lyland (Bud) Leegard; parents, Ludvig and Alice Hagen; brothers, Harold, Melvin, Laverne, Orville and Kenneth, and sister, Gladys. Survived by sister, Carol; sons, Craig, Andy and Eric; granddaughter, April and many special nieces and nephews. Vi was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, former cook for Anoka Hennepin School Dist. #11 and a lifetime member of Sgt. John Rice VFW. Funeral service Friday, November 2, 2012, 12:00 PM at Gearhart Funeral Home, 11275 Foley Blvd, Coon Rapids, MN 55448 763-755-6300. Visitation 1 hour prior to service. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery at 2:15 PM. Gathering at Sgt. John Rice VFW in Blaine following interment. .
