In his life's work as a Chef, he was known for his cooking passion having spent many years with the Lindenwood Diner in Queens.
He is survived by his wife, Rosa; his sons - Clemente (Nereida); Jose (Sharron) and Nelson; his daughter, Jacqueline; grandchildren - Yazmeen, Brianna, Gabriella, Andrew, Emily, Alisia and Johnathan; brothers - Luis, Raymond, Euclid and Raymond; and his sisters - Rosa, Lola, Sofia, Ana and Milen.
Mr. Nunez will be privately cremated, and family and friends will gather at the funeral home for Memorial Visiation and Service on Sunday evening, from 6 to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be offered at 7:30 p.m. by the Rev. William F. Brisotti of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal R.C. Church in Wyandanch.
