

Angela was married to her beloved husband, Juan, for 26 wonderful years. Together, they built a large and loving family, raising 11 children: Mercedes & Jose Torres, Julia & Belarmino Collado, Maria & Arismendi Fernandez, Ana Espinal, Francisco & Carmen Espinal, Mireya & Victor Taveras, Adelso & Dilenia Espinal, Magdalena & Luis Pena, Jose & Amarilis Espinal, Onesimo & Marisol Espinal, Raidily & Jose Luis Taveras; cherishing the joy of 27 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. Her family was the center of her world, and her love for them extended far and wide, touching generations.
She is also survived by her seven brothers and three sisters, as well as her cherished dog, Daisy, who brought her immense comfort and companionship.
A devoted and active member of the Catholic Church, Angela lived her faith daily through kindness, generosity, and service to others. She had a deep passion for gardening and crocheting, often sharing the fruits of her labor with those around her.
Angela was known for her deeply compassionate spirit. She never hesitated to help someone in need and always put others before herself. Her life was a reflection of quiet strength and selfless love.
She was a true fighter, bravely overcoming cancer and even graduating from hospice care twice—a remarkable testament to her resilience, courage, and determination.
Angela also had a special love for animals, especially her beloved Daisy and the many rescued kittens she cared for over the years.
Her legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all those whose lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Visitation will be held at D'Andrea Bros.Funeral Home, 99 Oak Street, Copiague, NY 11726, US, on March 31, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm, and again on March 31, 2026, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Assumption Church, 1 Molloy St, Copiague, NY 11726, US, on April 1, 2026, from 9:45 am to 10:45 am.
Burial will take place at Trinity RC Cemetery, Rainbow Lane east of Albany Avenue, North Amityville, NY 11701, US, on April 1, 2026, from 11:00 am to 11:30 am.
