

Diane, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away surrounded by the love of her family. She shared a beautiful marriage of 67 years with her beloved husband, Sonny, who served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
Together, Diane and Sonny built a loving family and a life centered around faith, dedication, and care for others. Diane was a registered nurse who spent her life helping those in need with compassion and kindness. She was also a proud member of the Rosary Society and held her faith close to her heart.
Diane had a special love for gardening and homemaking, creating a warm and welcoming home for everyone who visited. Above all, her greatest joy in life was her family. She loved them deeply and treasured every moment spent together.
She is survived by her loving children: Jim (Melissa), Mike, Richard “Curly” (Tracey, deceased), and Christine (Jerry). She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Brittney, Justin, Kyle, Corey, John, Ryan, Katie, Nathan, and Andrew; and her beloved great-grandchildren: Landon, Carlee, and Jackson, and sister Sandy.
Diane is predeceased by her siblings: Dody, Gerard, and Mike.
She will be remembered for her kindness, her strength, her devotion to her family, and the love she shared so freely. Diane’s legacy lives on in the many lives she touched and in the family she loved so dearly.
Visitation will be held at D'Andrea Bros. Funeral Home, 99 Oak Street, Copiague, NY 11726, on March 11, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm, and again from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
A Christian Mass of Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Assumption Church, 1 Molloy St, Copiague, NY 11726, on March 12, 2026, from 9:45 am to 10:45 am.
Burial will follow at Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Blvd, Calverton, NY 11933, on March 12, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
