

Mrs. Edna Mary Manda, died on Christmas Day, December 25th, 2010; just weeks after celebrating her 95th birthday this month. She was born in Brooklyn to her parents, the late George and Edna (nee Alber) LeClaire. She met and and married her husband,George John Kroog, and together they raised three children. George passed in 1972, and did their two youngest children - George John Kroog, Jr. in 1989, and six months later, Peter James Kroog. Surviving is their daughter, Carol Lynch; nine grandchildren - Robert (Gail) Lynch; Brian (Suzanne) Lynch; Barbara (Alex) Arnold; Diane (Danny) Berrin; Kathleen Lynch; John (Denise) Kroog; Jennifer (Scott) Erickson; Danny (Alicia) Kroog and Kimberly Kroog; eighteen great-grandchildren - Meghan, Mary and Josephine Lynch; Jonathan Lynch; Jason, Zachary and William Arnold; Kiera, Liam, Ainsley and Clare Berrin; Zachary, Julia and Shannon Kroog; Kirsten and Kyle Erickson; and Daniella and Maricsa Kroog. Mrs. Manda is pre-deceased by all her siblings - Albert, George, Irene and Jeannie.
Family and friends gathered for viewing and visitation at the D'Andrea Bros. Funeral Home in Copiague, Long Island, New York on Wednesday, December 29. On Thursday, a Funeral Mass was offered at St. Martin of Tours R.C. Church in Amityville. Interment followed in St. Charles Cemetery.
