

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York; he met his future bride, the former Grace Laginestra; at a local gathering place while he was home on a short leave from the U.S. Army. Here, Grace’s friend introduced them, and upon his return from service, they married.
They moved out to Copiague and raised their family. Frank spent his career with the Pepsi Cola Company, working as a Refrigeration Mechanic, and retiring a few years ago after 33 years of service.
Frank enjoyed his retirement spending time with his beloved bride, playing golf and taking trips to Atlantic City.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Grace; their children – Frank; Anne Silva and son-in-law, Albert; Mary Russo Geric and her companion, Desmond Vella; and Christine Teresa Vacca and son-in-law, Michael. Also surviving are his grandchildren – Roseanne, Frank and Thomas James Russo; Albert Francis, Matthew John and Holly Anne Silva; Charles Geric and Michael and Brittany Vacca; and his great-granddaugther, Alyssa; his brothers, Salvatore and his wife, Manuela and Eugene and his wife, Elizabeth; and his sister-in-law, Lillian. Predeceasing him are his brothers Ralph and Anthony.
Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Wednesday and Thursday, from 2-4:30 and 7-9:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, May 10th at 9:30 a.m. at St. Martin of Tours R.C. Church in Amityville. Interment will follow at Calverton National Cemetery.
