Mr. Galuzzi is predeceased by his beloved wife, June. He is survived by his children - his daughter, Wanda Cava and his son-in-law, Michael; his son, Michael and daughter-in-law, Barbara; and his son, Robert and daughter-in-law, Irene. Also surviving are his grandchildren - Nicole, Michael, Aaron, Nathan, Matthew and Miguel; and his seven great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 7:00-9:30 p.m., and on Monday from 2:00-4:30 and 7:00-9:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday on 9:45 a.m., at Our Lady of the Assumption R.C. Church in Copiague. Interment will follow at Calverton National Cemetery, with Military Honors conducted by the U.S. Navy Ceremonial Guard.
