Mrs. Giarrusso is predeceased by her beloved husband, Francis. Surviving are her sons - Edward (Maria) and Frank (Sue); her grandchildren - Philip Giarrusso, Gabriella Giarrusso, Tara Giarrusso and Amy (Joseph) DiCarlo; and her sister, Antoinette Palmaccio.
Mrs. Giarrusso will be interred with her late husband at St. Charles Cemetery. Due to the limitations of the pandemic, funeral services are private. In lieu of flowers, remembrances in Virginia's name may be made to the Alzheimers Association. You can do so online at alz.org.
