My sincere condolences to Albert’s family and friends.  I consider myself very fortunate to have known Albert both professionally and personally.  Among other things,  I did a ride-along with him one night while he was on patrol and we also attended a Cowboys game together.  Albert always stopped by our house to say hello with a big smile when he was in the neighborhood.  May his light continue to shine in Heaven as well as in our hearts.

Was saddened to learn that Albert Jr passed into his eternal home. 
Please accept my deepest and heartfelt condolences in your loss of his bright light. May the Lord of all hope give you comfort and peace that passes understanding.

Our prayers go out to all of you, Beto and Dora and the entire family. Words cannot express the sorrow we also feel. But remember God is in our sorrow also and in our mist.


The memories I have with JR are from our childhood.  I remember when you all would come down from Dallas or when my mom would take us up there to visit you all.  I remember us all meeting at grandma and grandpa's house for breakfast, for the holidays or even when we would get together for a fish fry.  I remember the sound of some good country music or even tejano playing in the background and Uncle Albert singing and dancing.  I can still see JR’s smile during this time.  I even remember the day JR came down to San Antonio with his huge beautiful dog/wolf.  Most of all, I remember the laughter, togetherness and love that was there.  Even though my memories are those of the past, they are still the memories that I hold on to and cherish forever.  

Our condolences to Uncle Albert, Aunt Dora, Cindy, Mandy and your entire family.  I know there are no words that can help heal the pain that you all are feeling right now but please know that we our praying for each and everyone of you during this difficult time.  We love you all very much and that will never change.  

May you rest in heavenly peace cousin JR.    You were always loved, will continue to be loved and will be truly missed by us all. ❤️🙏🏼

Albert was always smiling and full of energy. He enjoyed helping others, deer hunting, and he had a great affinity for his parents. He had a kind heart and will be missed.

Thank you JR for always opening your door for my Parents and nephew. Going to your ranch was a nice get away trip for them.  I have many memories of going to visit up North with Ya'll and of Ya'll coming down to fish and then have fish frys at my parents!  You were a great son to your parents and you will be missed.

Oh my cousin I still think this is a dream....I still can’t understand why you were taken so soon....I love you and so grateful for the time we spent together and the laughs we shared...now go make grandma laugh....when I was sick you were constantly checking on me and prayed for me so now I will pray for you and strength for your parents because I know how much you meant to them....loving you always little cousin!!! 

I had the privilege of working with Sgt Moreno. He was always so kind willing to lend me a helping hand wherever needed. He will be truly missed. 

I pray the family will find comfort and peace in the memories of a great son, brother, friend and coworker.

I remember a sweet little boy who lived across the street worrying about the little old lady mowing her front yard after sunset.  Loved that little boy and the man he became!

As I try to sort through my thoughts to get used to the idea of not being able to talk to you anymore, next to the overwhelming sadness I feel in  my heart, there are these millions of little snippets of happy memories from the past 20 years flashing front of my eyes to ease the pain a little and make me smile. 

You didn't just give me roof above my head when I needed, but also welcomed me into your family with open arms and become home away from home. I hope I told you enough times how much I appreciated everything you did for me and my family, and what a difference you made in our life. You were truly special!

We will miss you brother, your midnight texts, the jokes, the always cheerful face, the hangouts and our conversations. You left a big hole in  our life and in our hearts.  Even you are not with us anymore, you will still live through our memories and  heart. I know you are still watching and guarding us from above and we will meet once again when time comes to catch up. Rest in peace my brother! I love you!

My condolences to my aunt, uncle, and cousins. I remember our childhood memories when you all would come into town, we would always be excited to see you all and especially JR. We were a family full of girls and only a few boy cousins so it was nice when we would all get together as a family. I love you all my Moreno Family, and I will forever miss you JR until we meet again, tell grandma "curly" as I would call her that although you both are now together you will always be in our thoughts, in our hearts, and forever part of our memories. 

JR you will be forever missed.  We love you mijo, thank you for being a part of our lives. I was so blessed to have a cousin like you. Albert & Dora, I am in disbelief, in shock, I cant even imagine the heartache your going through. JR had a very tight, loving, bond with the Both of you, something not every family has. We are so sorry for your loss , I wish I had the right words, just Know we care. We can only imagine how you all feel, but we are here to help in any way we can. My favorite memory is playing football at my brother Salvador Jr house with little Albert and Albert Sr and little Albert catching a pass and scoring a touchdown. Something I will always remember. 

Life is unexpected, and death or sorrow can come at anytime. There’s no way for us to prepare for these terribly events, but where this is loss, it is key to always remember that there is another life with God in heaven.
