

Constance K. Stewart passed away Friday morning, October 9, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Better known as Connie, Connie Wayne was born on February 28, 1941 in Albert Lea, Minnesota to Donald and Esther Wayne. She married Jim Stewart on January 4, 1964 in Des Moines, Iowa where they resided until November 2006 when they moved to Texas. Connie grew up on a farm near Clarks Grove, MN where she and her family went to church. A highlight for Connie while attending high school in Ellendale, Minnesota was being crowned Homecoming Queen. Connie was very friendly and so it was only fitting that she worked in the Human Resources department for a large hospital while living in Des Moines and one month was recognized as Employee of the Month. Connie was active in children’s ministries at Stonebriar Community Church in Frisco. She was a wonderful wife and mother and did an outstanding job in raising and nurturing her two children, a daughter, Cynthia, and a son, Jerry. Connie really liked people and being a friend to others. A celebration of her life will be held at Stonebriar Community Church, 4801 Legendary Drive, Frisco, TX 75034 at 10:00am this coming Saturday, October 17, 2015. Connie is survived by her loving husband, Jim, her children, Cynthia Stewart, Jerry (Lori) Stewart; her grandchildren, Jonathan Stewart, Brianna Stewart and Savanah Stewart; her brother Richard (Donna) Wayne, her sister Janet (Don) Dickson, and her sister-in-law Isabelle Wayne; her nieces Lisa (Mike) Vordenberg and Susan (Eric) Credle, and nephews Keith (Leigh Ann) Wayne, Brien (Melody) Dickson, Eric (Jenny) Wayne and Mark (Jennifer) Dickson. She was preceded in death by her brother Neil Wayne.
