Jackie Nell Woodard

Jackie came into this earthly life in Little Hope Community in Wood County, TX on January 6, 1940 and graduated from W.W. Samuell High School. She married the love of her life, Bobby Frank Woodard, on August 30, 1957.

Jackie had many passions in life; she was a homemaker, a school library clerk and even a teacher’s aide in the Irving Independent School District. She will be remembered for her cooking and gardening. Jackie was also a beloved member of the Oak View Baptist Church in Irving, TX.

Jackie has joined husband Bobby, together forever in God’s loving care. Jackie will be sorely missed by her loving children Melynda and husband Richard Grant, Steve and wife Stacy Woodard, John and wife Randi Woodard; grandchildren Matthew Grant, Alicia and husband James Countryman, Michael Grant, David and wife Brittnie House, Candice House, Corey and wife Hope Woodard, Caleb Woodard; great-granddaughter Hope House, two great-grandsons Keegan and Hudson Wells; and her sister, Sue and husband Jack Brown.

A visitation will be held for Jackie Monday, October 23, 2023 at 1:00pm at the Oak View Baptist Church in Irving, TX.
