Jason Robert Rowenhorst

Jason Robert Rowenhorst passed away peacefully on Friday, May 21, of 2021 with his parents, Jim and Sandy, by his side. He left this world holding the hands of the two people that were there when he entered.

Jason was born in Orange City Iowa and grew up in both Kansas & Oklahoma. He graduated from Broken Arrow High School in Oklahoma in 2003. He did his undergraduate schooling at the University of Oklahoma, then went on to Cleveland Chiropractic where he earned his doctorate of chiropractic. After graduation, he joined Dr. Lawrence Grimm at Premier Sports Chiropractic in Dallas and loved being able to truly help people.

In January of 2021, Jason was diagnosed with bladder cancer. In the months that followed, the aggressive nature of his illness continuously surprised everyone. As he battled he never lost his patience, love and appreciation for the people supporting him. He was brought to tears many times because of the loving generosity, thoughtfulness & caring of so many of his friends, patients & family.

Jason had a special gift for creating and nurturing enduring relationships. Countless people were drawn to his gregarious charm. The most important person to Jason was always the person lucky enough to be with him in that moment.

Jason is survived by: His parents;Jim & Sandy Rowenhorst His brothers and their families; Topher & Ryan Rowenhorst -Grandmothers and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jason was an Elite provider for ART. I got the privilege to speak to him in January after he found out he had cancer. I am an employee of ART and he had some questions about some seminars. We got to talking about his recent DX. I , at the time, was facing a DX of ovarian cancer and was scheduled for surgery in Feb. He was so supportive , kind and emotional. I felt an instant connection and was extremely saddened to hear of his passing. Prayers to all the family and friends for heart healing. RIP Jason. You will be missed.

Jason was one of the most kind-hearted men I have ever known. I enjoyed every moment I had with him. He was always so positive and was a great doctor. I just learned of his passing today and my heart is heavy. He was such a light in this word. He will be missed. I will always smile when I think of him and our time together.

It's not so much a memory, because there are so many, and it's difficult to choose between them.
But more about the feeling that I had whenever Jason was around. I just knew that whatever we were all doing, we were going to smile a lot, laugh a lot, and talk a lot of crap to each other! Jason had a kindness and charm that was infectious, and that fact is reflected in the number of acquaintances that quickly turned to friends in Jason's life. He was the kind of person that leaves an impression, even after he's gone. He'll be greatly missed.

Jason planned a great trip to San Francisco. We were celebrating him beating his first fight with cancer. It was great trip with countless laughs. I will miss him dearly.
