Jonathan David Jean-Marie Fink was born on January 17, 1998 to David Lee Fink and Coleen Catherine (Brice) Fink in Christiana, Delaware, and was called home to be with the Lord on February 23, 2020.
Jonathan imbued forgiveness, love, and adventure. He was full of life and could light up a room. He was thoughtful of others to the point of putting others’ needs ahead of his own. He tried hard to fit into the mundane, but barely could, as he would love and forgive like no other.
He was a graduate of the class of 2016 at Coppell High School, and attended the Highlands School in Irving for 9th and 10th grades. He played football with all of his heart at both the Highlands School and Coppell High School.
He worked as an auto technician in Austin and Coppell. He enjoyed cars and trucks, and working to fix almost anything (mechanical or not). He loved to make others smile and laugh, and could not hold a grudge against anyone. He took all life had to offer and made the best of it. Always praying for and giving to others.
He leaves behind his legacy of love in his daughter Brooklynn Dawn Fink, her mother Ashley Nicole Wallace, his sister Kaitlyn Constance Francis Fink, his brother Jacob Lee Valentine Fink, and all his friends and relatives whose lives he touched.
In addition to his parents, siblings, and daughter he is survived by his loving grandfathers, Edward James Brice Jr (Jacksonville, FL) and Walter William Fink (Orefield, PA); grandmother Carol Lynn Fink (Slatington, PA); his aunt Cindy (Brice) and Ron Carey (Lincoln University, PA); aunt Kara Brice (Jacksonville, FL); uncle Neal Brice (Jacksonville, FL), aunt Jennifer (Fink) Carrigan (Slatington, PA); and cousins Bryce and Sarah Carey, Tayler and Aubrie Rhoades, Christian Davila, Autaya Graves, Letti Carrigan.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made toward a fund for Brooklynn. Contact Dave and Coleen Fink for additional details ([email protected]).
