

KYONG OK YUN was born in Seoul, Republic of South Korea on 5-19-1935. He passed away at Texas Health Presbyterian Plano hospital at the Age of 85 in Plano, Texas on November 6, 2020, Friday morning at 1:05 am from Silent Aspiration and Respiratory failure.
He is survived by his three children: Suk Hui Choi in Memphis, TN; Song Mon Yun of Austin, TX and Song H. Yun of University Park, TX ; Son-in-law: Jong Sug Choi; Two grandsons: Min Choi and Sam Choi and close family friends: Young Best and Glen Boles.
Preceding him in death by his loving wife, Chong Suk Yun, deceased on 11/24/2017.
Kyong retired from AT&T Oklahoma City Works / Lucent Technologies after 15 years of service. He served in the South Korean Army June 1950 – July 1955. He has lived in South Korea, Oklahoma City and Carrollton, TX throughout his life. Some of his favorite hobbies that he enjoyed were fishing, hunting, golfing and playing the harmonica.
He attended church at Semihan Church in Carrollton, TX.
Funeral services for Kyong will be held on Monday, November 9, 2020 at 1:30pm at Rolling Oaks Funeral Home Chapel, 400 Freeport Parkway, Coppell, TX 75019, with visitation one hour prior. Interment will immediately follow in Rolling Oaks Memorial Center. Pallbearers will be Song Yun, Glen Boles and Min Choi.
