Makaio was born on June 25th 2002 at Fort Stewart, Georgia as a military brat. His mother’s name is Aimee Moranda and his godmothers name is Stacey Awkard. Makaio was born a fighter, his birth wasn’t easy but he made it and the scars to prove it. During birth his heart rate started to drop and an emergency C-section was the only option. Due to the position at time of birth when the C-Section was performed he was cut by the scalpel and left a scar on the side of his head. This scar was a reminder for his mom for the rest of his life on how blessed she was to have him in her life. Aimee is a firm believer that being his mom saved her life. Due to having him, she was able to get out of a deployment and later out of the military to start a new life with just the two of them.
Makaio was a born entrepreneur, who always kept his parents on their toes. At the age of five he wanted to know what a vending machine was and how it worked. After understanding the mechanics of such he asked for his own vending machine for his 6th birthday. That’s where it all started. From there on he continued to learn his own hustle by selling his used teddy bears in crown royal bags to his friends in school as mother’s day gifts. He didn’t stop there, he would also write stories about his friends and sell those for 50 Cents or a dollar. Mind you this all happened in elementary school. He then graduated to making money playing video games at age 10, selling virtual weapons on an online warehouse. In middle school he was still gaming but the real change came in high school when he learned about Crypto Currency. In Kindergarten he found his love for sports and being competitive. He played basketball first for a couple of years, but when he found baseball, that was his true passion until he found Crypto Currency. He became a self-made crypto day trader by the age of 15.
He received his first award, the “Messy Marvin Award” which was given for the messiest desk in Kindergarten only to become one of the cleanest and most organized young men. In Kindergarten he would also help the first graders with their homework in the after school program. In first grade he was nominated to be tested for the gifted and talented program which he did and was accepted in.
Makaio has always been a loving, open, kind hearted kid who always accepted everyone and was loved by many. He never turned anybody away, his knowledge was never just for him, and he was passionate about teaching others to be independent day traders.
He was always surrounded by many friends, they enjoyed going to car shows, going out for dinner, afternoons by the lake, and overall just spending time with loved ones. We all feel like he was truly his brothers’ keeper. Makaio was never looking for trouble and if somebody would bully him he would rather turn the other cheek and stand back instead of standing up for himself but if one of his friends were bullied he would be the first one standing up for others and not shy away from a fight.
At the age of 16 he received his driver’s license and within 2 weeks he went out and without anybody knowing found his first job. His first real job was at Sonic which he was so proud of, he said that he would give Chick-fil-A service at Sonic. After working there for several months he didn’t feel that his manager was being fair when he called in sick. He didn’t want to be around food when not feeling well. After the request of bringing in a doctor’s note for 1 missed day he showed up in his Pajamas and quit!
That’s when he really started focusing on his Crypto Currency Day-trading. He decided the Corporate World was not for him.
Another one of his passions was different religions. He would spend hours upon hours researching the different religions of the world, how they operate, what differences and similarities they have. Even though he chose to be spiritual he had a deep respect for all religions.
Preceding him is his grandmother Kelyne Kreger as well as Frances Awkard and his dog Cassie (Doggie) Awkard.
