Martha Ann Emerson

Martha Ann Emerson –(Mikulsky) , 52, of Coppell, TX, beloved wife and mother, passed away on March 22, 2015 after a long battle with cancer. Service: 11 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Restland Funeral Home - Coppell Chapel. Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2015 at Restland Funeral Home – Coppell Chapel. Martha was born on May 16, 1962 in the Town of Tonawanda, NY and was the daughter of the late Francis Joseph Mikulsky and Patricia A. (Ertl) Mikulsky. Martha attended school at Erie Community College in New York and the University of North Texas, graduating with degrees in Medical Laboratory Technology and Biochemistry. She worked in various Regulatory and Quality Control Manager positions at Parkland Hospital, UTSW Transplant Services, Abbott Laboratories, and MPM Medical. Her greatest enjoyment came from being with her children, Brian and Leia, and took great pride in all of their accomplishments. She loved just being with them and talking, planning their birthday parties, and the next vacation. We will miss her every day. Martha is survived by her loving husband, David B. Emerson; son Brian Joseph Emerson; daughter Leia Nicole Emerson; brother James J. Mikulsky (Deborah J.) of Grand Island, N.Y.; and brother-in-law Raymond Emerson of Hurst, TX.
