Born on June 23, 1955, in Teaneck, New Jersey, to parents Gordon and Billye Kisler, Nancy was raised in Fort Worth, Texas. She attended Southwest High School, before heading to Austin to attend The University of Texas.
Nancy Kisler was the gold standard in the corporate events industry for over four decades. Behind the scenes, she was the anchor—an assured voice over the intercom—who kept the event focused. She was more than a stage manager; she was a natural leader. Colleagues respected and loved Nancy. She will be missed.
Beyond her professional achievements, Nancy’s true passion was exploring the world. She set and achieved a lifetime goal to visit all 50 of the United States. Her adventures also took her across the globe, with extensive travels through Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, the Caribbean, Cuba, and Russia. Nancy approached the world with open eyes and an insatiable curiosity.
Nancy was a thoughtful friend, and a lover of animals. She was generous with her time and resources, always looking out for those around her with quiet, meaningful gestures.
Nancy was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Gordon and Billye Kisler.
She leaves behind a brother, Bob Kisler, and his wife Lois of Coppell, Texas; her nephew, Adam Kisler, his wife Apryl and great-niece, Alexandra of Fort Worth, Texas.
In keeping with Nancy’s wishes, no formal service is planned. For those wishing to honor her memory, donations may be made to:
