Sharon K Grassi

Sharron Grassi, age 71, passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Cottonwood Nursing & Rehab. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 3pm at Rolling Oaks Funeral Home in Coppell. Sharon was a resident of Lewisville. Her parents moved from Arkansas to Weatherford Texas when she was around 3 years old. She grew up in Weatherford and had school friends that she remained close to until her death. Sharon’s biggest contribution during her life was 19 years of teaching special-ed. She loved working with kids with special needs. She helped her step grandson, Chase with reading. She had a Chihuahua dog named Flea that she dearly loved. When he died 5 years ago she thought she would never love another dog again. But when we got Scout, she loved her even more. Sharon and Richard bought a house 9 years ago that needed a lot of renovation work done. She had never upgraded a house before but with a little direction she did a lot of the renovation and was surprised at how well she could do it! She is survived by her husband Richard Grassi; children Judd Kearby, Devon Wince and Linzi Pumpelly and grandchildren, Peyton, Ethan and Rylie. Sharon is also survived by her step children Ralph Grassi and his wife Joy, Todd Grassi and his wife Jennifer and Marion Garner and her husband Lee and step grandchildren Lauren Stephanie, Kailey, Chase, Lilly, Cooper, Christina and Kimberly. ~
