Simon Chacko Polacheril

He came to America in 1984 at the young age of 20. He worked at a company and later became one of the first few Malayali entrepreneurs in San Jose, California along with his partners Jojo Purayampallil and Joy Karottukunnel.

In 1990, Sheela came to his life as wife and they started their family life together in California. They moved back to India shortly after their daughter Sneha was born in March 1992. They were blessed with two more sons, Sanjay who was born in 1995 and Sachin in 1997.

In 1997, he started a private banking business in Kidangoor and later opened two more branches in Cherpunkal and Ayarkunnam. He was one of the founders of the Golden Club in Kidangoor and was an active member of All Kerala Private Bankers Association.

Simon was known for his charming personality and his sense of humor. He was very outgoing and generous, and welcomed everyone he met with a smile. Simon loved to host people and made them feel

welcome. He enjoyed listening to music and has travelled around the world. Simon really loved taking videos of his precious moments and cherished them dearly.

In September 2020, he was diagnosed with an advanced stage of Hepatocellular carcinoma and fought a good fight for one year and three months before his peaceful departure on November 11, 2021.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. The void he left can never be filled and he will never be forgotten. His memories will live on forever, until we meet again. Thank you.
