Sondra aspired to be a dancer on Broadway but had an incredible 42 year career with Bank of America. In 1979, while still in high school, she began her banking career in Carrollton, TX part-time and worked her way up to executive ranks over the years. In her most recent position Sondra was the head of Global Treasury Operations (GTO) at Bank of America. Sondra loved to travel, especially if a beach was a possible option. She loved traveling to Europe with London specifically being her favorite. She also enjoyed the Wine Country of Napa Valley and dinners in San Francisco on the pier. When she was not traveling, Sondra loved a relaxing weekend by the family pool with some great Jimmy Buffet, Journey, and ABBA playing and margaritas flowing.
Anyone who ever came in contact with Sondra will tell you the one thing they absolutely loved about her was her incredibly infectious smile! Her smile would light up the room and make any problem seem not so relevant. Sondra had a great wit about her, full of humor and made anyone always feel welcome and important.
Preceding her in death is her father Albert Sigmon.
