Terri Marie Furgeson

It is with great sadness that we mourn the loss of Terri Marie Furgeson. Terri was born August 14, 1964. and passed from this earth February 28, 2024. She was a beloved daughter. sister, aunt and friend. Terri was the youngest daughter of Ted and Peggy Furgeson. She is survived by her mother, Peggy Furgeson, her three sisters Connie Hnatishion, Joyce Furgeson, and Cheryl Young, her three nieces Cherie Barnett, Cassie Furgeson, and Rachel Young, her great niece Natalie Barnett and her brother-in-law Robert Young.

Terri grew up in Duncanville and was blessed to have great neighbors and friendships that have lasted a lifetime. She graduated from Duncanville High School and went on to further her education at Texas Tech University. Terri loved her career and was loved by her bosses and co-workers. Her career and the people she worked with meant a lot to her and she considered them family. She was very dedicated and important to her company and her loss is being felt deeply by them. Her life touched so many friends, co-workers and of course family.

Terri was truly a blessing to her family, and she meant the world to us. She was a loving, caring person and would give all she had to make sure her family was taken care of. She could always be counted on and was there whatever the need. The heartbreak and pain of the loss of her in our lives is so deep, there are no words. We will miss taking our family vacations to the beach with her. The beach was Terri’s happy place. We will always cherish our many vacations to the beach and memories we have with her.

We will miss her quirky sense of humor, her take charge attitude and her bossiness. If you knew Terri, you heard more than once “don’t worry, I’ve got it taken care of.” Terri believed and had faith in God. We know she is in heaven. While we mourn our loss of her, we know she is being rewarded for her faith, and for the loving, giving, caring person she was. Someday we will see Terri again but until then we will carry on and find our peace in knowing she is in heaven and all burdens, pressure and stress have been taken from her.

She has joined all her loved ones that have gone before her to their eternal home, and is in the presence of her God, enjoying the riches, glory, love, and peace of heaven. Knowing this is our peace and comfort.
