Arthur Harold Oldham

Arthur Harold Oldham, age 88, of Killeen, Texas passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Arthur was born April 26, 1933 in Indiana, Pennsylvania to parents Ralph Kunkle and Bernice Oldham.

Arthur served in the U.S. Army for over 20 years and obtained the rank of Staff Sergeant. While stationed in Kansas, he met the love of his life, Carol. On July 30th of 1960, they were married and shared 61 years together.

After his retirement from the Army, Arthur continued to stay active. He opened Oldham's Upholstery shop and later, Arthur and his wife traveled the U.S. in their RV and obtained jobs at many RV parks along the road. They ended their journey and retired in Florida. In his free time, Arthur enjoyed wood working and crafts. He was a simple man who enjoyed jokes and making people laugh. Most of all, he loved his family and was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Arthur is survived by his wife, Carol A. Oldham; daughter Lisa Ruiz and partner Dustin Crawford; son Douglas Oldham and wife Carol L. Oldham; grandchildren Bryan Ruiz, Tyler Ruiz, Julie Hill, and Brenda Avant; 11 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
