Bashan Abdiel Swain

Bashan Abdiel Swain, age 24, of Copperas Cove, Texas passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 22, 2021. Bashan touched everyone he met in a small way throughout his life. He was born July 16, 1996 in Killeen, TX to parents Bashan Swain and Amy Gee.

Bashan graduated from Copperas Cove High School with the class of 2014. He then worked as a paint and body technician at Mid-Tex Paint and Body and took lots of pride in his work. Bashan was an active member of Copperas Cove Moose Lodge 2029 and earned the Higher Degree of Legionnaire. He was passionate about detailing, paint/body work with classic cars and trucks while volunteering with Exotic Ones Car Club. During High School he participated in DECA.

Bashan’s good attitude and likable personality made people drawn to him. He always surrounded himself with family and friends. He was a laid back man with a goofy sense of humor but when it came to his work, he was driven and hustled through his tasks.

He was preceded in death by his father; Bashan Swain, grandmother; Connie Payne, grandfather; Patrick Gee.

Bashan is survived by his grandmother; Adiyda Myra Hand, mother; Amy Gee, his brother; Michael Gee, sister; Kyara Zhaine Gee, son; Teagan Everette Oliver; sister; Daisha Anice Smith-Swain, sister; Josyln Denae Smith, aunt; Najma Cromer, uncle; Ishan Swain, uncle; Fahiym Hand, uncle; Doug Gee

A visitation for Bashan will be held Sunday, June 27, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Crawford-Bowers, 211 W Ave B, Copperas Cove, Texas 76522. A funeral service will be held Monday, June 28, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home.
