Services for Benjamin J. Weeks 96 of Copperas Cove will be Monday, December 5, 2011 at10 AM at Killeen Memorial Park Chapel. He was born on September 28, 1915 in Weedsport, NY to James and Virginia Weeks and passed away on December 1, 2011 in Temple.
Mr. Weeks served in the US Army for 26 years retiring in 1962 at the rank of E-8. He served in WW II , Korea and Vietnam while on active duty. He also worked for civil service at Ft. Hood for many years before opening Ben’s Auto Repair in Coppers Cove. He earned an Associate’s Degree in General Studies from CTC. He was a long time member of Fairview Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife Yvonne Weeks, his parents and all his siblings. Survivors include his son Ronnie Weeks and wife Sherry of Lake Jackson and a daughter Sandy Blevins and husband Gerald of Troy, 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
