Carla Jean Polidoro

Carla was an enigmatic force. She was loved by many and a momma to all.

Carla served the City of Copperas Cove as a FireFighter and Paramedic for 23 years until retirement in 2018 as Fire Captain. Over the years, Carla put out many fires, delivered many babies, saved many lives, and even performed CPR on a dog to save its life. She had a servant's heart and cared for all.

Carla gained another family after retirement where she and her husband joined the Alliance RV group, where they traveled the United States together. Wherever Carla went, she never met a stranger and was loved by everyone who met her.

Carla is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Joyce Randof, and step son Anthony Polidoro.

Left to cherish Carla’s memory is her husband Rick Polidoro, son Bruce Mathis and wife Erica, daughter Kelli Shukait, brother David Randof, niece Pamela Randof and nephew Dawson Randof, as well as her grandchildren whom she loved very much Chance and Alyssa Shukait, a great nephew Dawson Randof Jr. ,step-son Ricky Polidoro and wife Tammy, along with numerous friends who considered her family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 6pm on Thursday July 10th at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove, Texas. Inurnment Services will be held at 11am on Friday July 11th at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas.
