Cynthia served in the U.S. Army as a clerk typist. After her military service, Cynthia continued into the field of data entry in logistics.
Once she retired, Cynthia enjoyed crafts and playing billiards at the senior center. She also traveled to national treasures; among them her favorites were the Opry House and Branson, MO.
Cynthia was a true patriot. She loved all things Texan including the Dallas Cowboys.
Cynthia is survived by her husband, Tony Horton; daughters Janice Fowler, Jennifer Brown, and Angela Cason; her sister Sue Ranes; 7 grandchildren; along with her nephew Barry Freeman and his family.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her husband John Spofford.
