David built his name in the painting and home building industry as a hard worker and someone who valued his word, with attention to the finest of details.
Born December 31, 1958 in Fort Knox, Kentucky, but soon moved to Central Texas where he chose to live the remainder of his years. Enjoying life outdoors, David loved to hunt, fish, and even break out the golf clubs for an afternoon of losing balls.
David is pre-deceased by his father, Robert Heintzelman, and his mother, Louise Jones.
Survived by his two sons, Derek Darryl (Julie) Heintzelman, of Houston, and Kyle Robert Heintzelman of Murphy, and their mother, Shari Sue Jensen. Granddaughter Lily Sue Heintzelman, also of Murphy, survives.
David is also survived by his brother, Mike Heintzelman; and his sister, Wanda York, as well as stepfather Ed Jones.
Celebration of Life Service to be held April 14, 2023 at the Hancock Park Golf Course Pavilion. Service will start at 3:00 PM with food and reminiscing to follow. The pavilion is not near the golf pro shop. It is located near the 16th green, which you can find by going west through the HWY 281 and E E Ohnmeiss Dr intersection. You can drive through the gates to the pavilion, or park in the paved lot (where your car may be safest) and walk.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.crawfordbowerscopperascove.com for the Heintzelman family.
