Donald Leroy Blomquist of Copperas Cove died at the age of 80 on Saturday, February 14, 2015 in Jackson, TN. Don was born in Valley, NE on September 9, 1934 to Inez and Herb Blomquist. He married Rosalie Nelson on August 19, 1956. He is survived by his wife Rosalie and their 3 children and spouses; John and Ilana Blomquist, Mark and Denise Blomquist and Anne and Sunny Khamapirad, and his 6 grandchildren (The 6 A’s). Ashlynn, Alicia, August, Axel, Ansel, and Annaliese. Don enjoyed fishing and hunting, watching old cowboy movies and playing with his grandkids.
Visitation will be on Monday 2/23/15 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home 211 West Ave B, Copperas Cove, TX 76522. Funeral services will be on Tuesday 2/24/15 at 10:00 am at Trinity Lutheran Church 518 E Highway 190, Copperas Cove, TX 76522. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 at St. Olaf Cemetery, Cranfills Gap, TX.
