Dear Lord, I know you have billions of people to keep track of... I'm not so sure how often you check your Facebook, but I wanted to warn you that Helga Pennington got there yesterday morning. This gal is part saucy minx, part brat, and 90% mischief. But I'm sure my Papa has shared lots of stories with you. He was her biggest fan. You absolutely knew what you were doing when you aligned their lives. They defined true love.
Now I'm not sure if heaven has beautiful, lush rolling hills of flowers but by midafternoon I'm almost positive she should have had the whole place mowed and weed wacked.
Again, not knowing the set up in heaven if there is a cafeteria that has volunteers, Helga, better known as Kay, will have kicked everyone out rearranged everything and Lord I'm so sorry but I'm almost positive she won't even let you come in and help And as you can see in the pictures my Omi LOVED food
I can promise you God that if heaven is in debt in any way to anyone my Omi will start several envelopes with a couple dollars in each with a paper stating how much wrapped around it and held in place with a paperclip. She will also keep a penny-by-penny ledger so Father I'm letting you know you can't pull a fast one on her
Omi is always business first. My PaPa understands so he will just sit down with a peach and knife and let her do her thing.
But I know Lord that her next life will be day after day car rides that she so loved to do with PaPa. They will take potato chips with them, but they will need stop for a hamburger. Then at the end of the adventure they will stop for 2 soft serve ice creams that PaPa will end up having to eat
My heart is so happy Omi that you are not in pain and with the love of your life. Anybody who know you at all knows that Preach is your everything and I know you are tickled pink seeing your mom, dad, brother sister and many others. So many stories to tell to catch them up on and YES Omi, you will steal the stage with your marvelous storytelling.
But down here don’t ever forget that we have their own collection of stories that bring joy when it comes to your mischief. You are very much-loved little lady. Your daughter Jessieann is your greatest blessing. Jessieann never left your side and provided only the best till your last peaceful breath.
Build so many memories in heaven Omi. We can’t wait to hear them…
We love you Omi.... We love you so much. We’ll see you soon…
