Funeral services for Hildegard R. Lowry, 86, of Copperas Cove will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 27, 2012 at Grace United Methodist Church in Copperas Cove with burial to follow at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.
Mrs. Lowry passed away January 23, 2012 in Copperas Cove. She was born February 22, 1925 to Oscar and Rosa Giner in Ulm, Germany.
She met and married Aubrey Lowry while he was serving with the U.S. Army in Germany. She lived in Copperas Cove since 1961.
Survivors include her husband, Aubrey Lowry of Copperas Cove; two daughters, Christine Alexander and husband Bill Alexander and Evelyn Dixon and husband Buster Dixon; a son, Pete Lowry and wife Beverly Lowry; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
The Lowry family will receive guests for a time of visitation from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, January 26, 2012 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove.
