He is survived by his wife, Yuko; daughters, Megumi, Michelle, and Erica; 2 beloved dachshunds, Olive and Sage; and grandchildren, Tyler, Dylan, and Laiana.
Jim served in the U.S. Army and retired in 1992 after 20 years of honorable service. He then went on to be a 911 dispatcher for several agencies and ultimately retired from Bell County Communications Center in 2016. He loved woodworking and being outdoors. In his free time, you could often find him at Solana Ranch.
He was a proud dad and grandpa; a great friend and neighbor. To honor Jim, we ask that you share a smile and a wave, as he always did.
