Funeral services for Retired Sergeant First Class James Robert Spears, 73, of Copperas Cove, will be held at Copperas Cove City Cemetery on September 19, 2024 beginning at 3:00PM , where James will receive full military honors.
James passed away September 9, 2024, at a local hospital. James was born January 4, 1951, in Floresville, Texas to Melvin and Lula Spears.
He served 20 years in the United States Army and 21 years in the U.S. Postal Service as a Window Clerk in Lampasas, Texas.
He was married to his wife Sylvia for 46 years. James is survived by his wife Sylvia Spears and Daughter Sandra Spears.
Visitation for James R. Spears will be on September 17, 2024, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, 211 West Ave B, Copperas Cove.
