Jim "Jimbo" Sanders

Jim “Jimbo” Sanders died Apr 21, 2016 in Temple, TX at the age of 40. Jim was born at Carswell Air Force Base in Fort Worth, TX. He was raised in Copperas Cove and graduated from Copperas Cove High school in 1995. Jim was liked and love by all that had the opportunity to know him. A kind heart and who loved his family and especially his children. Today we say good-by as one of God’s Angles returns home.

Jim L. Sanders is survived by his parents Leon and Yong cha Sanders, his children Harley, Johanna, Nyla and Nakira, sisters Sandra Fisher and her husband Danny Fisher and Dorethy Sanders-Afoah and her husband Emmanuel Afoah, aunts Wanda J Sanders, Ann Pearl Madison and Patricia Carey, 4 nephew, 3 nieces, and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother Julia Mae Sanders, his aunts Dorothy Sanders and Earline Brown, his uncle Edward L Sanders, his younger brother Jason Sanders and 2 cousins, Jimmy Sanders and Ashlee Madison.

Guests may call upon the Sanders family for a time of visitation on Friday, April 29, 2016 from 6-8 PM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home of Copperas Cove. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016 beginning at 11:30 AM at Pershing Park Baptist Church with Pastor Dale Moye officiating. Burial will follow in the Copperas Cove City Cemetery.
