Melissa Leslie

Melissa Leslie, age 39, of McCrory, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021. Melissa was born December 2, 1981. Melissa was born in Caruthersville, Missouri to parents Mike Smith and Linda Leslie and was later raised in Copperas Cove, Texas.

Melissa was a joyful soul who brightened the lives of others. She loved her family and friends dearly and built everlasting friendships with those she drew near to her. Melissa enjoyed getting together for the holidays and always was the one to bring everyone together. Family was everything to Melissa and as she would always say, "We are all we got." Melissa had a strong appreciation for life and spent every moment of hers caring for and comforting those around her.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Linda Leslie.

Melissa leaves behind to cherish her memory her father, Mike Smith; sister, Latricia Leslie; brothers, Antonio Leslie, Douglas Leslie, and Maurice Leslie along with many cousins, an uncle, and nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

A memorial service for Melissa will be held at 1pm on Saturday, November 27th at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home of Copperas Cove, TX. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Kempner City Cemetery.
