Nicholas Anthony Duane Mims

Nicholas Anthony Duane Mims, age 26, of Copperas Cove, Texas passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2023. Nicholas was born February 1, 1997 in Brownwood, Texas to parents Timothy Mims and Rachel Glaze.

Nicholas grew up in Brownwood and graduated from Harker Heights High School in 2015. He then joined the United States Army stationed in El Paso, Texas. Nicholas later pursued a career in Music Management. He was always passionate about music; some of his favorite artists were Elvis and Michael Jackson.

Nicholas is preceded in death by his brother Isaiah Mims; aunt, Misty Mims; and great-grandma, Joyce Bishop.

Nicholas is survived by his mother, Rachel Glaze and stepfather, Victor, of Killeen; father Timothy Mims and stepmother, Cynthia, of Corpus Christi; fiancee, Sat Dimonique Delgado-Salinas and their daughter, Karter Mims of Copperas Cove; his siblings: Rebekah Mims of Orange Grove, Daniel Mims of Copperas Cove, Deion Mims of Lufkin, Emrael Mims of Brownwood, and Victor Glaze II, Justin Glaze, and Matthew Glaze of Killeen; grandparents, Sharon Owens of Abilene, Melissa Phillips and Ray Phillips of Mathis, Gary Morgan of Fort Worth; aunt Letitia Lara and husband Marc of Mathis; uncles, Adam Owens of Abilene, Bishop Morgan and wife Nicole of Mathis; 7 cousins, Beatriz, Katrina, Amaris, Nicole, Damieon, Katelynn, and Tyler along with numerous other relatives and countless friends.

A Celebration of Life for Nicholas will be held Monday, February 20, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, 211 W Ave B, Copperas Cove, Texas 76522.
