Ulrike "Ulli" Salzman

Born- July 30, 1961 in Weiden in der Oberphalz Germany where she graduated from Sophie-Scholl-Realschule. In the 90s, she moved to Texas where she lived until she gained her gained her angel wings on December 14, 2021 in Killeen, Texas.

Ulli was a strong beautiful mother of two and a grandmother to one.

Her parents Johan and Else Ascherl precede her in death.

Her two sons, Markus Ascherl and Tim Salzman and her granddaughter Mekaylynn Ascherl survive her along with all of her amazing friends.

Ulli was a great shoulder to cry on. She had the weirdest sense of humor but it was a part of her charm. The only bad thing was that she always acted as if she was fine and pretended everything was okay; although she knew it was not, just so people would not worry about her. My Oma was an amazing cook and made the best food I have ever eaten. She was a very sweet, kind, and lovely woman that had been through so much and yet remained strong.

Ulli loved helping animals and we ask that instead of flowers please send donations to the Copperas Cove Animal shelter in her honor.

We will have a Memorial in Honor of the Queen at a later date.

May her friends and family always remember her and carry on her memory.
