Virginia Bryant

Celebration of Virginia W. Bryant’s life and legacy, age 86, will be 10am Thursday March 6, 2014 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove, officiated by Tom Allen. Burial will follow12:30 pm at Killeen Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Wednesday March 5, 2014 from 5-7 pm.

Mrs. Bryant, beloved spouse, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away surrounded by family and friends on Sunday March 2, 2014 in Copperas Cove, TX where she had lived since 1965. She was born in Apex, North Carolina on October 20, 1927 to Bert C. and Christine Walker and settled in Copperas Cove with her husband, when he retired at Ft Hood.

Virginia was a homemaker who loved to fish and garden. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Rose Bryant Sr. (CW2)ret, of 47 years, daughter-in-law Barbara, and all 7 of her siblings. She is survived by her two children, Brenda Griffin and husband Don, and Marshall Rose Bryant Jr., granddaughter Angela McLaughlin and husband William; 4 step-grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
