Wendell was born on November 23, 1956 in Arab, AL to the late Williard Lavon Ross and Frances Dovie Humphries Ross.
Wendell is preceded in death by his niece Ashley Liles.
He is survived by two sons Wendell L. Ross Jr. and his wife Kathryn of Copperas Cove, TX and Brandon Melton and his wife Rian also of Copperas Cove, TX, and his grandchildren.
Wendell will also be missed by his brother Larry D. Ross and his wife Susan of Copperas Cove, TX, sisters Felicia Ross Brockett and her husband Joe of Killeen, TX and Linda Ross Wells and her husband Doyle of Belton, TX and his nieces and nephew.
