William "Billy" K. McComas

He was born March 7, 1953 in Louisa, Kentucky to Nakoda McComas and Geraldine (Thompson) McComas.

Billy, as many called him, worked for McClain’s in Temple for 25 years.

He and his wife Deidra were married July 3, 1982 in Paris, Texas, they just celebrated 30 great years together.

Billy enjoyed cooking, riding his motorcycle and spend time on the place in Kempner.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Deidra (Pomroy) McComas of Kempner; a sister, Sherry (McComas) Wade of Temple; niece, Melissa (Wade) Attaway of DeSoto; nephew, Bryan Wade of Temple; brother in-law, Gary Pomroy of Paris, TX and three nieces, Tina, Teresa and Cassie and extended family.

A memorial service remembering Billy’s life will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 1, 2012 in the chapel of Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove with Pastor Paul Wrightsman officiating.
