Funeral services for Almus Lee Ross are set for 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dale Ross and Bro. Rodney Whittemore officiating. Burial will be in Forrest Memorial Park.
Mr. Ross died on Friday, January 9, 2015 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. He was born on September 17, 1929 to the late James and Ethel Morrow Ross. He served his country in the US Army and fought in the Korea War, retired from World Color, and enjoyed woodworking.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Barbara Ross; five brothers, Joe, Jake, Pat, Hardin, and Calvin Ross; and one sister, Belle Ross.
Survivors include one daughter, Kim Hales and husband Brian; two sons, Mike Ross and wife Debby and Terry Ross and wife Nancy; and four grandchildren, Alan Pratt, Emily Ross, Madison and Bricen Hales.
The Coffee Drinkers of Buck’s and K&K Truck Stop will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Visitation will be on Saturday, January 10th from 5:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. and from 1:00 P.M. till service time on Sunday.
