Amanda Jane Millsaps

Funeral services for Amanda Jane Millsaps will be on Wednesday, January 13, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Charles Stephenson officiating. Burial will be in the Henry Cemetery in Corinth.

Amanda left this life on Sunday, January 10, 2010 at the age of 29. She was born in Corinth on July 8, 1980 to Rita and the late Robert Millsaps. During her life she worked for the Mississippi Department of Rehabilitation as an evaluator, loved to read, ride motorcycles, going camping and spending time with her nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of the Class of 1998 from Biggersville High School, received her Bachelors Degree in 2003 and her Masters Degree in 2007 from Mississippi State University.

Along with her father, Amanda was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bonnie Millsaps and LaVera & M.F. Wakefield.

She leaves behind her mother; two sisters, Angela Miller and her husband Travis of Atlanta, GA and Jeana Dodd and her husband Will of Corinth; nieces and nephews, Kelly Miller, Trevor Miller, Taylor Dodd, Anna Dodd, and Allie Dodd, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.

Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. and from 9:00 A.M. till service time on Wednesday.
