A Celebration of Life Service for Barbara June Carter, 81, is set for 2:00 pm Wednesday at Wheeler Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Ray Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Methodist Church Cemetery. Family and Friends Gathering will be Wednesday from 1:00 pm to service time at the church.
Barbara died February 9, 2025 at MS Care Center. She was born February 23, 1943 in Alcorn Co. MS to the late Claymon Clester and Elma Cora Honeycutt Carter. She was a lifelong and faithful member of Wheeler Grove Baptist Church where she served as Church Librarian for many years. She was a graduate of Kossuth High School in 1961 and attended Northeast MS Junior College. Over the years she worked at Wurlitzer, ITT, and CMC.
She was preceded in death by parents.
She is survived by a host of cousins, other family, and friends.
