Barton "Bart" Cregeen

Barton “Bart” Holmes Cregeen, 63, died December 17, 2023 at North MS Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

He was born November 24, 1960 in Corinth, MS to Donnie and Maynette McEwen Cregeen. He was a 1979 graduate of Corinth High School and a graduate of University of North Alabama. He served as park director for the City of Booneville and Corinth, before moving to Columbus, MS. He was a avid Ole Miss and St. Louis Cardinal Fan. He loved his daughters more than life itself!

He was preceded in death by his mother, Maynette Cregeen; brother, Jeff Cregeen; paternal grandparents, William and Virginia Cregeen; and maternal grandparents, Floyd “Sausage” and Mahenry McEwen.

He is survived by his father, Donnie Cregeen and step-mother, Paula; daughters, Megan Cregeen, Annie Cate Cregeen, Sarah Barton Cregeen; brothers, Ben Cregeen and Ned Cregeen (Zoe); step-brothers, Kent Mohundro and Rob Williams; and host of nieces and a nephew.
