Billy Joe McNair

Funeral Services Celebrating the Life of Billy Joe McNair will be 2pm Wednesday at Holly Baptist Church with Bro. Larry Marshall and Bro. John Haines officiating. Visitation will be from 12pm until service time at the church. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Holly Church Cemetery.

Billy Joe passed away on February 8, 2026 at his residence. Born in Corinth on October 2, 1938 to the late John and Pearl McNair, he proudly served this country in the United States Army. Billy Joe worked at Tyrone Hydraulics, then went to Kimberly Clark until retiring. After retirement, Billy worked as a security guard at NEMCC of Corinth until his final retirement. Billy attended Holly Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Billy Joe was preceded in death by his grandson, Bret McNair; brothers, Charlie McNair and Cecil McNair; half-brothers, Ruben McNair and John F McNair; and sister, Lou Ellen McNair.

Billy Joe is survived by his wife of 65 years, Patricia Roaten McNair; sons, Mike McNair and Keith McNair (Vicky); grandchildren, Khrysie Ash (Austin), Jessica Settlemires (Clay) and Hannah McNair; step grandchildren, Alayna Milam and Jacob Feazell; great grandchildren, Kathryn Ash, Raeghan Settlemires, Mallie Settlemires, Adalynn Settlemires , Maverick Wayne McNair, Maddox Michael McNair, and Dyer Wells Vincent; and step great grandchildren, Carson Tyler Milam, Miley Milam, Skylie Feazell, Cassidy Feazell, Ty Feazell, and Serenity Feazell.

Pallbearers include Steve McNair, Richard McNair, Austin Ash, Josh Moir, Andy Burrus, Dennis Roaten, and Clarence Hinton. Honorary Pallbearers include Sid Nunley, Larry Garrett and J.S Young
